Q:  How much does it cost to hire an Investigator?

A:  Our hourly rate is $60.00 per hour and the mileage rate is $.55 per mile,.  The hourly rate does not start until the Investigator arrives to the surveillance point or to the personal contact point, otherwise; the Client is not charged a hourly rate while the Investigator is traveling.  The Agency works off a retainer, just like many attorneys.  The retainer guarantees that the Agency sets specific time aside for your case.  Time, mileage, and Client authorized expenses are charged against the retainer.  When the retainer is used up, the Client will replenish the account in order for the work to continue. 


Q:  Does the Agency have an agreement or contract for the Client and Investigator to sign? 

A:  The Agency has a contract which is signed by both the Managing Officer of the Agency and Client entitled “Agreement with Private Investigator”.  Several points covered in the contract are “Services to be provided”, “Duties to the Client” and “Confidentiality”.  This contract will be provided for review to the Client before the services are started.  At this time, the Client can ask questions for clarifications.   


Q:  Is it legal to record a telephone conversation in Oklahoma? 

A:  Yes, Oklahoma is a One-Party Consent State.  Which means YOU may record a phone conversation or any other conversation in which you are a party.
